Meet Megan
Megan Boltansky is an experienced educator and school leader with a deep commitment to supporting children and families in navigating the K–12 education system. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University, a Master’s in Special Education from National Louis University, and a Master’s in School Leadership from Harvard University. Megan began her career as an elementary and special education teacher in Chicago, where she developed a passion for equitable, student-centered learning and family advocacy.
For the past eight years, Megan has served the D.C. metro area in various leadership roles, including instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal of an early childhood school. Her work centers on the belief that education is the key to unlocking each child’s potential. She brings a deep understanding of both instructional best practices and school systems, and she is passionate about helping families make informed, confident decisions that align with their child’s unique strengths and needs.
Megan also brings access to a trusted network of related service providers, tutors, and specialists, allowing families to connect with high-quality professionals who can provide targeted support when needed. At the heart of her work is a commitment to nurturing a love of learning and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Meet Dr. Stone
Dr. Randi Stone is an educator and mother, who is dedicated to empowering schools, families, and educational organizations through responsive, evidence-based guidance and transformative planning. Her research-driven and collaborative approach to literacy consulting will ensure you have the tools to foster a love of reading at home or at school. With an extensive background in the Science of Reading (SoR), her services are tailored to help you make sense of what your students, children, or educators need. Dr. Stone’s commitment to helping all students succeed through effective, inclusive literacy instruction is rooted in her experience as a first-generation college graduate.
Dr. Stone earned an M.S. in Early Childhood Education from Dominican University, an M.Ed. in School Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and an Ed.D. in Leadership and Policy, with a focus on early literacy intervention, from American University. Her research examines the culturally responsive implementation of Science of Reading (SoR)-informed policies, including dyslexia legislation. She has presented her work at major conferences, including the International Dyslexia Association's annual conference, the World Literacy Summit at Oxford University, SXSW EDU in Austin, TX, and most recently, the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) annual gathering in Baltimore.
She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at American University's School of Education. Her areas of focus include: early literacy, foundational literacy, literacy intervention, adolescent literacy, dyslexia, screening data, literacy data, assessment
